New Hopes, New Dreams

I was quite depressed this week. Exams are next week, I'm telling myself that I'm so jinxed that I will not a job in this lifetime, etc, etc. Morever, I was trying to build my personal web site since 4 May 2007, and I haven't progressed a lot (I will talk about it later).

In short, everything was going wrong in my life till my friend announced a morale boosting news to me.

Yes, its incredible, and its true. Paypal now covers Mauritius, and I thank Vikram for breaking this news to me. You'll find a similar article on his blog, click on his name to go there.

What this means to me is that the World is now open to me! Just imagine, I can now make almost any business transaction in most countries in the world using a highly secure system. More significantly, like Vikram has mentioned in his blog, I will be able to register as an affiliate with many sites and try to make quick money, and Paypal is the key to that world.

The downside of this story is that I do not have a credit card (I'm still a student, can't afford one), but I'll be toying with Paypal to understand payment procedures better. If everything goes well, I might become a bit more richer, but I'm determined to make myself become a success story, for others (Young Mauritians without large financial backings) to follow.

For the time being I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
